Hair removal for teens is a growing trend. Teenagers are generally first in line when it comes to removing unwanted hair. As fine and light-coloured as it may be, hair is simply not tolerated. Young girls compare with each other: one friend shaves, the other doesn’t, one sees an aesthetician for waxing while the other is undergoing electrolysis. One question remains in the minds of many parents: at what age should we allow teenagers to begin hair removal and which method is the best?

Dectro International has been attending for numerous years the Cosmoprof convention which takes place in Bologna, Italy. The 49th edition was held from 18 to 21 March 2016.
In addition to hosting nearly 2500 exhibitors and over 207 000 visitors, Cosmoprof presents several workshops and conferences. As it is a major event with a solid reputation amongst the industry’s professionals, it is the perfect stage to discover and share the most innovative devices and products in the aesthetic field. Moreover, Dectro International impressed many visitors with the Opti-vizion, an innovative and hands-on optical vision system which was introduced at the convention.
